Vincent’s Dejalah Fox and Riverside’s Donavan Coleman Named MCC Student-Athletes of the Week (Dec. 8)

Dejalah Fox (Vincent High School) and Donavan Coleman (Riverside Univ. High School) were named the Milwaukee City Conference Student-Athletes of the Week for the week of Nov. 30 – Dec. 6. 

An offensive powerhouse for Vincent, Fox dominated the court in the Vikings’ two games last week. The senior averaged 27 points and 2.5 assists per game while shooting 78 percent from the field. Fox also showcased her versatility on defense, averaging 8.5 rebounds and 7 steals per game. Behind Fox’s stellar performance, the Vikings improved to a 3-0 start to their season.

Coleman delivered his own impressive performance with a standout game against Kenosha Bradford on Dec. 2. The Riverside senior erupted for 23 points, shooting a perfect nine-for-nine from the field and converting five of his six free throws. Coleman stuffed the stat sheet with eight rebounds, five steals, three blocks and one assist, leading Riverside to a clutch 79-74 victory.
